# ThirstCheck ThirstCheck (https://thirstcheck.com) is a social web app. The line on the homepage is: Thirsty? Same. Post your fit, let real people rate it, and climb the board. Validation, served fresh. ## What people do 1. Snap a pic of you. A face scan can lock the account to that person. This is not a face-swap product. 2. Swap in any outfit, show off your drip. The lab is a virtual try-on and photo editor: clothes changer, background change, picture editing on your own photo. An outfit photo is optional. A description is enough. Up to four outfit photos can lead the clothes. 3. Post it and let the crowd decide. Thumbs up and thumbs down fill the Thirst Meter, which is the percent of thumbs up plus a vote count. Comments sit on the post and on the flipped card. Hype people up, or humble them. ## Boards Leaderboards rank by Thirst Meter after enough votes. Public boards: Thirstiest of the day, streetwear, night out, gym, beach, mogging, best glow up, and worst fit (a playful roast board people opt into). Beach is the public label for that lane. ## Daily challenge One pose or clothing item drops each morning at 6:00 America/New_York. It is a dismissible popup once per person per day, remembered in the browser and on the server, plus a push for people who opted in. A small link in the nav opens it. It is not a permanent block on the homepage or the feed. ## Streaks Posting or rating at least once a day (America/New_York) keeps the streak. Missing a day resets it. Seven days and thirty days grant a small reward and a badge. The flame shows on the profile, the card, and the nav. A nudge warns you when the day is about to close. ## Rate a random Three pics that are not yours and not already rated. Thumbs count toward the meter and toward the streak. Every ten ratings boosts the rater's latest post in other people's queues for a day and tags it Boosted. The boost is visibility, not fake votes. ## Follows Follow is instant, one way, in both directions independently. There is no request and no private-account approval. Mutual follows are labeled Friends. That label is not a separate relationship. Counts always show. Lists can be hidden. Blocked people cannot follow either way, and a block removes both follows. ## Credits New accounts start with 5 free credits, once. People who joined the waitlist get 10. New accounts get them when they sign in. The amount can be changed in admin. Public pages, this file, and pre-signup mail do not list prices or pack sizes. The credits page and the edit confirmation show them after a session. ## Auto-post Signed-in members can connect their own social accounts and post or schedule a fit. The public name is Auto-post to your socials. Networks: X, TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, YouTube, Bluesky, and Pinterest. TikTok posts ask for a privacy level and a consent checkbox. ## Notifications Web push is opt-in from a settings toggle, never on first load. Kinds: thumbs up, comments, replies, streak at risk, streak reward, daily challenge, leaderboard, Thirst Meter boost, posts from people you follow, and new followers. New-follower alerts say "You have 1 new follower" or "You have N new followers" and do not name the person. The in-app inbox does name them and offers Follow back. iPhone delivers alerts after the app is added to the Home Screen. ## Pages Home, lab, board, content guidelines, terms, privacy, llms.txt, llms-full.txt, and the board URLs listed in sitemap.xml. /admin, /api, and the credits page are not for indexing. The age gate is a client overlay. Crawlers and visitors receive the same HTML. ## Contact support@thirstcheck.com
